TLC 15 Grease
TorrLube TLC 15 Grease is a high-viscosity PFPE grease engineered for ultra-high vacuum, elevated-temperature, and contamination-sensitive applications. Its exceptionally low vapor pressure, chemical inertness, and stable NLGI #2 consistency make it well suited for critical systems requiring maximum vacuum cleanliness and long-term lubrication stability.
TLC 15 Grease is intended for critical systems that require the lowest vapor pressure and highest base-oil viscosity in the TLC grease family. Its heavier PFPE base oil provides strong lubricating film strength while minimizing evaporation and outgassing in ultra-high-vacuum and high-temperature environments.
Common application areas include:
- Ultra-high-vacuum systems and vacuum chambers
- Semiconductor manufacturing and processing equipment
- UHV chamber bearings and motion components
- Electron microscopy and high-vacuum imaging systems
- Mass spectrometry and analytical instrumentation
- Space and aerospace instrumentation
- Photonics and optical systems
- High-temperature mechanisms and assemblies
- Precision bearings, seals, and motion feedthroughs
- Cleanroom and contamination-sensitive equipment
- Chemically aggressive or oxygen-rich environments
